A Good Read đź“–Â
“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise…” – King Solomon (Proverbs 13:20)Â
In the wisdom of Solomon, we are reminded that the path we walk and the men we walk with shape who we become.
In Freemasonry, brotherhood is not accidental. We do not merely fall into company; we are careful about the men we call Brother. Every petitioner is examined, not for wealth or status, but for character. And as Brethren, we likewise choose to surround ourselves with men who uplift, guide, and sharpen us.
For iron sharpeneth iron.
Within the Lodge, we labor together, counsel one another, and hold each other accountable. We choose to be among men who:
• Speak truth with kindness
• Correct with humility
• Lead by example
• Live by the Square
Because in Masonry, association is transformation.
When a man walks with wise Brethren, he learns wisdom.
When he walks with men of virtue, he strengthens his own.
When he walks in Light, he becomes a better builder of his inner Temple.
We choose our circle carefullyÂ
for the Brethren we walk with
help shape the Mason we become.
